About Stronachlachar

Stronachlachar is not so much a village as a little collection of odd houses and other buildings which once belonged to Scottish Water when they had a base there. There was once a hotel which is now holiday lets; there are some cottages which are now used as holiday lets; there is a cafe which opens during the holiday season.

Yes - you may well ask 'why bother going to Stronachlachar'? The answer is simple:

The distance from Aberfoyle is about 11 miles by road.

I can't say much more about Stronachlachar so here are a few photos!

You can see why you need to book early if you want a cottage around here!
